Wedding Vows

Dearly beloved, Family and Friends, we are gathered here today October second, the year two thousand and 13, to celebrate the wedding anniversary of Edward and Karina Parmenter, and to bear witness on the renewal of these such said vows, made twenty years ago today. Please remember to attend the post ceremony dinner.

Edward and Karina, when you first joined hands and hearts in marriage 20 years ago, you did not know where life would take you. You both promised to love, honor and cherish each other through all the valleys and hills of life. Over the years you both have been through the darkness and into the light. You have faced great obstacles and been given many wonderful blessings.

Marriage is a commitment in learning to care for one another in mutually fulfilling ways. It is not an act, but rather a life-long relationship always in the making; and today, having fulfilled the vows to love, honor and cherish each other that you made twenty years ago on your wedding day, you stand before an audience of family and friends as witness to your life together and renewed love to each other.

Marriage deepens and enriches every facet of life.

Happiness is fuller, memories are fresher, commitment is stronger, even anger is felt more strongly, and passes away more quickly.

Marriage understands and forgives the mistakes life is unable to avoid. It encourages and nurtures new life, new experiences, and new ways of expressing a love that is deeper than life.

When two people pledge their love for each other in marriage, they create a spirit unique unto themselves which binds them closer than any spoken or written word.

Marriage is a promise made in the hearts of two people who love each other and the potential of marriage requires a lifetime to fulfill.

One of the great blessings of marriage is the joy and responsibility of raising a family. Not only have Karina and Edward been truly blessed to be life-long companions, but also the loving parents of two Beautiful children............

As Karina and Edward renew their wedding vows to each other today, they also renew their commitment to being loving and caring parents to Lyndsay and Laurel, recognizing with both gratefulness and blessings the happiness and fulfillment that Laurel and Lyndsay and their love for each other have brought to their life, not only as husband and wife, but as parents with the responsibility of being their for the girls as well as for each other. Illustrating how to be one family while still being oneself.

So today as we gather, and you Karina and Edward both reflect over the past 20 years as husband and wife,
DO YOU both wish, to reaffirm the vows you took 20 years ago.

WE DO!!!!

Please face each other and join hands.,,,,,,,,,,,(Karina' hand on top)

Karina, will you continue to live in a loving marriage and have Edward as YOUR husband?

I Will

Karina, will you continue to love, honor, and cherish Edward in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, forsaking all others and remaining faithful to Edward as long as you both shall live?

I Do

On your wedding day you exchanged rings as a symbol of your never-ending circle of love for each other. Rings serve as a reminder of your wedding vows to each other, and your commitment to live in unity and love. At this time it is appropriate to reconfirm the meaning of the rings you both wear.

Please join hands,,,,,,,,,,,(Karina' hand on top)

Karina repeat after me,,,,,,,,(Karina' hand on top)

Edward, I wear this ring you placed on my hand ///// as a symbol of my never-ending love and commitment to you!

Edward repeat after me,,,,,,,,,,(Edward' hand on top)

Karina, I wear this ring you placed on my hand ///// as a symbol of my never-ending love and commitment to you!

Karina and Edward, today you have renewed the promise and vows you made to each other on your wedding day. You have renewed your commitment to be loving parents to Lyndsay and Laurel and you have symbolized the renewal of the marriage union by the joining of hands, the taking of vows, and by the wearing of your wedding rings.

Now by the power vested in me by God, the state of Florida, and the Church, I ask that you both continue to cherish each other as special and unique individuals, and that you each respect the thoughts and ideas of one another, and Continue to forgive and not begrudge in good times and in bad.

It is with pleasure that we conclude the renewing of your wedding vows ceremony celebrating the never-ending love you have for each other, with a KISS.

Edward You may Kiss the BRIDE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The END

PS Remember to attend the dinner which will follow the ceremony.
